Multichoice Learnerships Requirements

Requirements for each field will be different, yet, there are some basic stipulations that must be met by all applicants before making their application. Below is a list of these we compiled from their learnership opportunities.

Basic stipulations:



  • Must be a South African citizen with a legal ID book
  • You must hold a Grade 12 certification
  • Must have a diploma or degree in the field of their application where applicable
  • Candidates must be presentable, quick learners, attentive to detail and be able to solve problems
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • You must have great communication skills
  • Candidates must be proficient in English
  • Must be willing to work overtime and long hours when needed

Successful candidates may be required to relocate to the area where the learnership is available for the period of the learnership. This is done at the successful candidates own cost. Selected candidates will receive a monthly allowance but have to make arrangements for their own transport, meals, and accommodation. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview before awarding of the learnerships.

Multichoice Learnerships Application

Multichoice learnership application online can be done by accessing the Multichoice Website. From this page, you can select ‘Work at Multichoice’ at the top of the page, on the page that opens you should select the ‘Careers Portal’ tab on the right side of the screen. You will then be redirected to the Careers Search Page where you can look for available learnerships by selecting ‘Graduate Opportunities’ in the list on the left side of the screen.

Applicants must create an online portfolio on the company website to be able to apply. This can be done by clicking on the ‘Apply’ button, you will be redirected to the registration page and can now register.

Multichoice Learnership Programme Closing Date



The closing date for learnerships offered by MTN will be posted on their website with the application form. The dates will vary in accordance to the field made available. Candidates must submit their application forms along with all relevant documents before the closing date as advertised on their website to qualify. Only those applications that have all documentation is in on time and completed in full will be looked at.
