The Sapref is the biggest oil refinery in sub Saharan Africa which is owned jointly by Shell Refining and BP Southern Africa. Sapref refinery is located in Durban and this company is the place to a couple of top petrochemical professionals in South Africa. The Sapref refinery is offering Sapref leanership programme in terms of Production and Engineering.

Requirements for applicants

There are a couple of requirements that you have to consider if you want to be applied to Sapref learnership programme.



  • The candidate should have Matric maths and science certificate in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical and Mechanical) or an S4 in Electrical, Mechanical and Chemical engineering.
  • The candidate should have a positive attitude and high quality of behavior.
