KwaDukuza Municipality Traffic Officer Traineeship Programme 2019, the KwaDukuza Municipality seeks to capacitate the unemployed youth with knowledge and skills in road traffic management.



REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 (matric certificate)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • South African identity document
  • Age must be between 18-35 years
  • Proof of residence
  • Clean criminal record (NB: the successful candidates shall be screened of their criminal record)

TARGETED WARDS AND NUMBERS:



  • The interested applications will be expected from all 29 wards
  • Only 30 applicants will be considered through the selection process
  • Preference shall be given to one learner per ward

THE DURATION OF TRAINING:

  • The training shall be undertaken for a period of 12 months
  • The KwaDukuza municipality shall bear all the costs for the 12-month training including tuition, accommodation and the monthly meal allowance of up to R1500 per learner per month)

THE POST TRAINING WORK EXPERIENCE



  • The KwaDukuza municipality shall provide the mandatory post training experience to all 30 learners for a period of 12 months at a rate of R4500 per month
  • There is no guarantee that the successful learners post training and experience shall be employed by the municipality (as the intention is to skill and prepare the youth for

THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR AN APPLICATION

  • The interested learners from KwaDukuza municipal wards ONLY must file their applications and include the following:
  • Application letter
  • Certified copy of the matric qualification
  • Certified copy of the driver’s licence (code 8)
  • Certified copy of the RSA identity document
  • Proof of KDM residence (obtainable from HR for completion by the ward councilor ONLY)
