The South African Social Security Agency SASSA has reopened the system for applicants to change their payment methods if they wish to do so.
All interested applicants of SASSA who want to change their September payment methods can do so before the the10th.
The reopening of the SASSA Applicant system is to solve the problem many of the beneficiaries are facing with their payments and payment delays with their Social Relief of Distress SRD.

Sassa social grant payments for September
- Friday 3 September 2021: Older persons’ Grants
- Monday 6 September 2021: Disability Grants
- Tuesday 7 September 2021: All other grants
Sassa confirmed, “there is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day”.
“Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.”
